Jerry Dalton of Dalton Pictures, an Oscar Qualifying Company with over 20 years in the Motion Picture Industry, will instruct film enthusiasts what it takes to make a Motion Picture.

You will learn everything from script to screen, including acting and everything in between.
The 2021/2022 class will conclude with the making a Motion Picture Short.

The Myrtle Beach Film Institute meets once a week for 2 hour workshops. Participants will learn Story Line, Scripting, The Business of the Motion Picture Industry, Cinema Camera Setup, Framing, Composition, Photography VS Motion Picture, Videography VS Cinematography, Lighting, Professional Sound, What is a Score and how does it relate to the Motion Picture, Acting, Blocking, Directing and so much more... The year ends with the actual production of a short Motion Picture. You will never watch a movie the same way again.
